When three visitors from abroad, guests of the Maria Schregel organization, were given a tour of an isolated village by Father Carolus, they met three children whom he was asked to take into the children’s home. They were semi-orphans, whose mother had gone to Singapore in search of work.  The visitors were touched by the sad faces of these children and asked if it were possible to sponsor them. Thus the first sponsorships came into being. More were to follow.

With a sum of €200 a year, you can also become a sponsor.

If you do, you will receive a report with photos illustrating the living conditions of the child and his or her environment. You will participate in the development of the child and have a personal contact with him or her. Visits can also be arranged if desired and you will receive an annual report on the progress of the child and a donation receipt.

You may end the sponsorship at any time, or take a break from it without having to explain your reasons although in such instances, we would be grateful if you would advise us of your intentions.
