The Maria Schregel e.V. a charitable society, registered in Germany, supports development projects in Myanmar, (the former Burma), to help people to help themselves. Every donation, to the last penny, is used to help the needs of the people there.  We support only those projects we know, from hands-on experience, and whose activities we are able to monitor. The project leaders, in situ, are responsible people whom we know individually and who are both qualified and trustworthy. We help all those in need, regardless of their religion, ethnicity or gender.

Our aim

Our aim is to create livelihoods for people in need and to enable those people to help themselves. Our activities are focused on the village of Kanazogo in Myanmar. We support only those projects which have the consent and the approval of the village council, the village chief and the council of elders of the respective ethnic groups. Our concern is to promote the peaceful co-existence of different groups, to encourage women and to help the poorest of the poor.
